Bryan Noreik

Clinton

1946  -  2008

Bryan Noreik, 62, passed away on June 23, 2008, after battling multiple sclerosis for sixteen years.

He was born on December 18, 1946, to Frank and Christina Noreik, in Chicago, Illinois. Bryan's two true passions in life were for God and Country. He was a long and faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, and a member of the Clinton 16th Ward. He served as a member of the USAF for twenty six years. During his years of service he was stationed at Keesler AFB, MS, Macdill AFB, FL; where he met and married his wife of nine years, Karen in 1982 , Hahn AFB Germany, Langley AFB, VA, where his loving daughter Rachel was born, as well as many others and would retire in Utah.

Bryan had a love for life, which he loved to capture through the lens of his camera. He always had an arsenal of photo equipment ready and his keen eye captured the trueness of life, keeping the present for the future.

He also loved to travel. He loved traveling so much, he became a master at finding the longest, but yet most beautiful routes. He always made sure that as a father he taught his children that it is not about the end of the trip when you reach your destination, it is all the sights smells, laughter and love that transpires along the way.

He is survived by sisters; Leora Ross and Linda Walsh, and brother William (Bill) Noreik, as well as three nieces; all who live in Australia. He is also survived by his three children; Rachel Noreik, Christopher Noreik, both of Birmingham, AL, and Jamie McCarthy, Spangdahlem, Germany, and one granddaughter, Myah McCarthy.

Memorial services will be held Monday, June 30, 2008, at the Clinton Stake Center, 1288 West 1300 North, Clinton, at 10:00 a.m. Interment in Utah Veterans Memorial Park, 17111 South Camp Williams Road, Bluffdale, at 12:30 p.m., where Military Honors will be accorded by the HAFB Honor Guard.
