Lois Clark Johnson

Lois Clark Williams Johnson, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend died Friday, June 27, 2008 at the age of 90. She was living at Avalon Care Center and died of natural causes. She was born August 17, 1917 in Clearfield, Utah to James Edward Clark and Albertha Burt Clark. She had five brothers and four sisters. She was raised by loving parents who taught her the values of family, hard work and caring for one another.

Lois enjoyed fishing and camping in the outdoors, playing sports while growing up, and working hard. She married Melvin LeRoy Williams. She was a loving and committed mother to her two children, Robert C. Williams and Sharon Ann Williams. After Roy’s death, she remarried James M. Johnson and spent many happy years together. They enjoyed camping, fishing and traveling. Lois was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

She is survived by her son, Robert C. (Joyce Ann) Williams of North Salt Lake, UT; four granddaughters, Cindy L. (David) Cook of Farmington, UT, Terry Francom of Centerville, UT, Susan (Don) Peay of Bountiful, UT, and Shelly (Landon) Lewis of North Salt Lake, UT. She leaves behind fourteen great-grandchildren and one surviving sister, Donna Mildon of Sunset, UT.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 1, 2008, 11 am at Lindquist’s Bountiful Mortuary, 727 N. 400 E. where friends may call from 9:30 – 10:30 am prior to services. Interment Redwood Memorial Cemetery.
