DelRay died Sunday June 29 in Ogden surrounded by his family after fighting a courageous battle of Lou Gehrigs Disease.
He was born Oct 1, 1960 in Nampa Idaho To John and Nola Waite. He lived his childhood and early teen years in Nampa Idaho before moving to Jerome Idaho where he graduated from Jerome High School. He attended The College of Southern Idaho obtaining an Auto mechanics degree.
He served an LDS mission to the Louisiana Baton Rouge Mission. He married his eternal sweety on March 19, 1982 in the SLC Temple. They were blessed with 6 wonderful children. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, serving in many callings such as Young Mens’s Pres, Stake YM, many scouting callings. His favorite was Primary Chorister where he loved the children and they loved him.
He loved to be with his family, fix anything and everything, talking to anyone and everyone, boating, camping, singing and going to Disneyland.
He is survived by his love, Linda Sry, sons, Michael (Bree), Ryan (Kami), Chris, Brandon, Alex, and his sweet daughter Rachelle. Parents, 3 Brothers, and 1 sister. Many nieces and nephews whom he loved very much.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 3, 11:00 a.m. at the Mountain Green LDS church, 5378 Old Hwy Rd. You can visit with Del and family Wed evening from 6 to 8 pm at Russon Bros. Mortuary (across from Cherry Hill) in Kaysville, Utah and 9:30 to 10:30 am Thursday in Mtn. Green. Interment in Mtn Green Cemetery.
