Ingrid Elaine Johnson, age 96, passed away on June 28, 2008, in Bountiful, UT.
She was born on August 24, 1911 in Crystal Falls, MI to Solomon Isaacson and Emelia Seppi. She married Frank N. Johnson on December 23, 1929. Ingrids’s whole life was centered around her family.
Her face lit up when her grandchildren walked in the room. She spent hours playing with them and having sleepovers. She loved to knit and read. She was a wonderful homemaker and a very hard worker. She will always be remembered as “Grandma” the one who lended support and who was always there for us.
She is survived by her son Jack F. Johnson and his wife Marge Johnson of Bountiful, UT. Her grandchildren Kelli Nelson and her husband Christian W. Nelson, Jana Leavitt and Her husband Jason Leavitt, Forrest F. Johnson, and Amy Johnson and Megan L. Johnson and her husband RB Hayes. Her great-grandchildren Candice Bement and her husband Brent Bement, Heather Hale, Jessica hale, Joshua Nelson, Jacob Nelson, Hayden Nelson, Hannah Nelson, Austin Johnson, Lyndsie Leavitt, and Landon Leavitt.
She was preceded in death by her husband Frank N. Johnson and her granddaughter Cheryl D. Hale.
We also would like to give a special thanks to the Life Care Center in Bountiful.
Graveside Services will be held on Wednesday, July 2, 2008 at 3:30 p.m. at Lakeview Memorial Park, 1640 East Lakeview Drive, Bountiful, UT. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.memorialutah.com.
