Alonzo (Al) Avaristo Aragon passed away on 6/29/08 after a sudden illness.

He was born on 6/30/46 in San Luis, Colorado to Philip and Elveria Valdez Aragon. He was one of 12 children. He was preceded in death by both his parents, first wife Georgia and brothers Floyd and Philip Aragon.

He is survived by wife Anna Aragon, daughters Joette (Roger) Flores, Marie Christine (James) Evans, Margaret Renee Boerdam and son Fernando Aragon. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, one great-grandchild, three brothers and six sisters, many in-laws and friends who cared about him. He also left behind two special Chihuahuas (Andy and Eddie) who loved him dearly.

He lived life "large" and gave it all he had. No one who met Al could ever forget him and his crazy sense of humor. Al was a retired engineer with Union Pacific Railroad. He loved fishing, children, gardening and collecting rocks and "treasures" from the DI and yard sales. He loved to cook and shared his dishes with neighbors and friends. He loved talking to people and never met a stranger. He was a generous man with a great big heart who saw good in everyone.

Funeral services will be held on July 7 at 11:00 a.m. Friends may visit Sunday Evening, July 6th between 7-9 pm and 9:45-10:45 am on the day of the service. Services to be held at Russon Bros Bountiful Mortuary, 295 N Main, Bountiful, Utah.
