Melva Keirce Stewart
1945 - 2008
Our mom, aunt, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend passed away in West Valley, Utah. She was the daughter of Howard D. and Hazel Staley. She married Kenneth Keirce who preceded her in death. She married Albert Stewart who also preceded her in death.
Melva was involved in her community, particularly helping on the PTA committee at Academy Park Elementary. Melva was a stubborn person, but she had a heart of gold. She was a great mother and grandmother who loved her family.
She is survived by her children, Sandra (Anthony), Kenny, Richard (Rana), Sheree (Darrin); 8 grandchildren; 1 great-granddaughter, Kylee; sister, Gayle Gamble and sister-in-law, Betty Staley.
Preceded in death by her parents; her husbands; daughter, Kendra and brother, James Staley.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 3rd, 11:00 a.m. at Redwood Memorial Mortuary, 6500 S. Redwood Road, with a viewing 1 hour prior to services.
