Juanita Johnson Nyquist passed away on Monday, June 30, 2008.
Juanita was born July 17, 1935 in Brigham City, UT to Arnold L. and Stella Edna Andersen Johnson. She married Joseph Newell Nyquist on August 24, 1955 in Ogden, UT. Juanita had a love for dolls, crafts crochet and Harry Potter. She had a large collection of anything that had to do with wolves.
Surviving are her children: Kenneth L. Nyquist, Hyrum; Jesse L. Nyquist, Hyrum; Teresa (Dave Byington) Crockett, Hyrum; Tonya (Clyde) Walton Weston, ID; Susette (Max) Williamson, Hyde Park; Les D. Nyquist , Hyrum; Jody Nyquist, WA; Blake (Candice) Nyquist, Avon; siblings: Non (Betty) Johnson, Reno, NV; Bonnie (Kay Gardner) May, Ogden; 20 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her husband, Newell, parents, and siblings: Duke and Lyle Johnson, Gloria Dockery, Mona Geer and Beth Cook.
The family would like to thank Ogden Regional Hospital and Alpine Transitional Rehabilitation Center for their care, along with Bonnie May for the time spent with Juanita.
Graveside services will be held on Monday, July 7, 2008 at 12:30 p.m. at the Hyrum Cemetery. Friends may call on Sunday, July 6, 2008 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Myers Mortuary, 205 S. 100 E., Brigham City and on Monday from 11:00 to 12:15 at the Hyrum 8th Ward, 600 South 200 East, Hyrum.
In lieu of flowers donations to Myers Mortuary to help with the funeral expenses would be greatly appreciated.
